Imagine if Wolf of Wall Street was a better movie with more likeable characters that had a baby with what Oceans 8 should have been.
Bong Joon-Ho has always been fun, but I feel like he really found himself with this one. It holds together better and carries more emotional weight than his other movies have so far (at least for me). He manages to cram so many ideas into this film, and somehow it all works itself into a really cohesive, powerful, and weird-as-hell story.
I think this is one of those movies I'll appreciate even more as it inevitably rattles around in the back of my brain.
