Jonathan Boehle’s review published on Letterboxd :
Alas, this was another Jackie for me: A technically impeccable film with some good performances and impressive sequences that ultimately adds up to not much of anything. I will say, it does have one extraordinary sequence for me: the opening scene of Edward's novel, which is a slow nightmare build of some of my greatest fears, being thrown into a situation where I'm constantly getting gaslighted by some very frightening people with no escape route. It's an infuriating and unnerving sequence, and none of the scenes that follow, either in the novel or in the real world, ever really match that scene, or amount to much. Michael Shannon is a fun hoot as always though, and the score and cinematography are aces.
