"You are not lonely, you're empty! And that's worse!"
Just Before I Go sounded like it could be interesting, so I gave it a shot. Seann William Scott is quite good here and his character is a far cry from the Stiffmeister. The rest of the cast is pretty good too. The film itself was never boring and has some strong moments. However, it was kind of a mixed bag overall. I think the problem lies in the script. Like I said the story sounded like it had potential, but it's a bit messy. I feel like they tried to cram too many subplots in and it doesn't fully work. Some of the humor doesn't really land either. It's okay, but with some tweaks to the script, it could have been pretty good.
