I let my 11-year-old cousin watch this because I'm continuing the tradition of corrupting the youth with a Kubrick movie since my dad let me watch Full Metal Jacket when I was 12. She tapped out when the ax scene started so overall a pretty good experience for her I think.

The oldboy becomes the devil in this 2 1/2 hour long descent into the firey pits of revenge. At times, I don't know if the length is justified, but damn I will probably spend even longer thinking about what the movie is posing here. Is having revenge worth becoming the same monster who hurt…
