    A good, simple story. It's interesting, I don't actually think the government needed to intervene here--the quiz show contestants were essentially actors for hire--but on the other hand, the cat was out of the bag and I think it was the general populace who was most upset about being lied to. I know I would've been. (The guy who memorized the Whammys on Press Your Luck, on the other hand, was doing great work.)

    I dunno. It was a decent thriller I guess but not a great Saw movie. Not sure why they're trying to move away from the weird eccentric Saw and into this new, brooding, "The Batman" style Saw. It's not very fun. Which is what the Saw movies are. Fun. Not good films. But fun.

    It took them 19 years, but they finally gave us what we wanted: a movie centered on Jigsaw and Amanda. Tobin Bell truly is the best actor in these films and I'm so glad we got to see him shine. I'm even fine that we got an extra 30 minutes in this one, watching Kramer attempt a last ditch effort to survive.
