Great dialogue, beautifully shot, very funny, and Mike Myers completely redeems himself for The Love Guru.
The perfect word to describe this for me is "overkill". Or is it two words? Fuck it, overkill. So many scenes are repetitive and could have been cut down severely. I was so utterly confused by almost everything and yet I've seen all the other movies and the "previously on Underworld" DBZ recap bull shit at the beginning didn't help. I like the first one but all these others just blend together in my mind. On the plus side this one is at times unintentionally hilarious.
Unlike Michael Bay, its very apparent that director Travis Knight absolutely loves and respects Transformers. Who would have thought that giving the job to someone who actually likes the Transformers would result in the strongest entry in the series. About damn time this series started looking and feeling the way its supposed to be.
