    This rules?

Maybe I was just tired and delirious but this had me audibly laughing on an early morning cross country flight, and Salma Hayek's unhinged cursing along deserves 2 stars.

Give me Part III to complete the trilogy, The Hitman's Wife's Son's Bodyguard.

it isn't but this feels like a Thanksgiving movie

  • We Summon the Darkness

    We Summon the Darkness

This is all fairly silly and far stupider than it's trying to be, but Daddario's an absolute blast and the not-twist-cause-it's-in-the-trailers twist is fun.

    Scream 4

This one's really grown on me since seeing it in theaters. Just took me a few years to embrace the absolute camp. Really a needed response to the soap operators of 3, and it's actually brutal in parts.

    The Gallows

Really fun to think back to the stretch in horror where seemingly every other week 3 weeks, all with some variation of The bad thing as a title.

  • Scream 3

    Scream 3

So up it's own ass and genuinely not scary that I'm surprised they didn't try to reboot it à la Leatherface/Texas Chainsaw 3.

By far the worst of the franchise

  • Spencer

Thankful this isn't a standard Oscar-y biopic, and thr general sense of horror in and around the manor is top notch. KStew's going to (deservedly) get a ton of little gold statuettes in the next half year.

Mid-00s rom coms were wild..you could put Ryan Reynolds in a fat suit for the poster and sleepwalk through the rest of the movie to like minimum $70 million worldwide

  • Scream 2

    Scream 2

I don't to that I'll ever fully recover from Randy's death, even if this was my ~10th time seeing 2.

Still a step down from the original, but this is such a well done 90s slasher that it holds up on its own account, no question.
