“I suspect foul play”
Congratulations Rian Johnson, you’ve crafted a bold political commentary masked with a smart and hilarious whodunnit.
A game of clue trips the genre formula so many times that it comes out the other side as an amazing satire. It lifts the classic genre callbacks while adding a comedic commentary on today’s America. Seriously, at times this is just fucking hilarious. At some points the score was inappropriately incorporated, and the pacing was all over the place. But I feel as though the experience will change with knowledge of the conclusion.
Thank you Rian Johnson
