I think it's pretty difficult to write about this and I don't really want to right now. I love how this shucks off any notions of idyllicism after Malick successfully engulfs the viewer in the film's atmosphere, where he then delves into what he wants to illustrate about life's machinations. Adored this for my first Malick. Feels like the 21st century version of 2001 and Mirror all in one
