This was nowhere near as fun as I was hoping and I think serves as a good example of all the things not to do when attempting to make a horror-comedy.

Nothing at all works here. The dialog and characters aren't funny, the killer looks ridiculous and has some really awful one-liners like some Great Value Freddy Kruger. After he commits a murder he goes back to his lair to watch a movie which has the scenes spliced in which I guess is supposed to mirror the events that are happening like some half assed version of HBOs Dream On. There's like two kills that looked decent but apart from that this didn't really do it for me. In all fairness, I could see this being a lot of fun watching it with people but I did not have that experience watching it by myself before going to bed last night.
