literally the platonic ideal of a horror movie. wether we're being chased by a gooey alien, a guy with a hockey mask or our own family, horror always postates the idea that all we can objectively trust to survive the situation is ourselves. and when the thing is able to so delightfully strip away that faith in our own evaluation of ourselves—well, shit, "i guess we'll just wait here for a little while." good flick.
