A beautiful and tragic film about how narcissism and decadence can destroy not only a romance and a person’s life, but also how it can haunt you to the point of stunting one’s growth. despite costarring with David Niven and Deborah Kerr - two fantastic, seasoned actors - Jean Seberg steals the show, perfectly playing the part of spoiled Cecile. the last scene is heartbreaking, and shows how one should be careful what they wish for - Cecile lives a…

mr incredible babysitting his kids while his wife is away is relatable af to me as a first time parent...
besides that, i didn’t have high expectations for this sequel because as of late, disney sequels are not very impressive, but this one was very good and lived up to the original!

This movie was so beautiful it made me cry for hours afterward. Gerwig beautifully depicts the struggles and emotions of teenaged girls, without confining the film to any of the cliche elements typically found in coming of age films. Just like the film itself, Lady Bird defies convention, aims to reinvent herself time and again even as others, including her mother, seem to underestimate her. This movie is as much about a transition to another phase in life, as it…

transparent and self deprecating in regards to it poking fun at the genre it is categorized in. I felt like I was going to fall asleep throughout it but hey at least my sister liked it, which is the whole reason I watched it.

can I just say that Jean Arthur is the most adorable and funniest screwball comedian ever?? this film proves that yet again. She and Herbert Marshall's character meet cute in the park, after she mistakes him for being part of the struggling masses (In actuality, he is in charge of an automobile company). She gets him to apply with her as butler and cook, and they work as a couple for a mobster who's very particular when it comes to…

The balance of comedy and horror evident in this film was magnificently done, which was important since the scenes with pennywise are graphic and frightening (I don't scare easily but this film sure did). Loved the group dynamic of the kids, and Finn Wolfhard's hilarious one liners! I heard there will be a sequel, if that's true then I am so excited for it!
