This was just horrible. I can't remember what I thought about it back in the day, but re-watching it now, it's just plain bad. In fact, I feel similarly about the last few Nightmares that preceded this -- they're just not scary anymore, and they basically turn Freddy into a clown. There's nothing really creepy even, especially in this one, it just feels like he's trying out gimmicks, and they want to experiment with the special effects. I will say that the bit about video games, although cheesy, was pretty fun ("Now I'm playing with power!")
