I only found out about this film recently because I came across the soundtrack on Apple Music, and it's surprising I didn't know about it since I'm pretty big St. Vincent fan, and of Carrie Brownstein as well. I watched it as part of my horror movie marathon, and it's not really horror, but it does take some interesting psychological directions at some point. It starts off as a music documentary about St. Vincent, but then thing go, well, awry. Well worth watching, especially if you're fan of St. Vincent.
