Jeckiboy’s review published on Letterboxd:
Pure melodramatic stew with a disappointing amount of ridiculous car antics. Vin Diesel moves about the frame like a glacier, muttering barely comprehensible musings on life in his deep ass voice. He has perfected acting and his mere presence soothed my soul. Tyrese Gibson once again carries the comedic side of things with an existential subplot that I felt could have gone further. I still feel that the franchise has an authenticity to it: it pays homage to the battlers of this modern world. They are masters of movement: born to drive but forced to hide. While the film opens with its best set piece, I was content to hang out with the "family" for the rest of the film... dealing with their trials and tribulations through wisecracks and words of wisdom.
