Poor Things 2023
Continue to be at least skeptical of Lanthimos as a Great Filmmaker (like The Favourite’s consideration of power, I thought a lot of the observations about gender and sexuality here to be pretty obvious) but this is pretty easily his funniest movie and is in general a great time. All the performances are great but I look forward to us discussing national treasure Mark Ruffalo.
