Chalked full of similarities to the trippier Resnais and Linklater films, this is definitely one of the more bizarre movies I've seen since Last Year At Marienbad -- and believe me, that's a good thing. Excellent performances by both lead actors, this isn't the kind of movie I can see myself forgetting easily, despite the fact that I'm not 100% what exactly was happening in it (I will admit, it definitely threw me off about halfway). Having only seen two Kiarostami films at this point (the other being the equally poetic 'The Wind Will Carry Us'), I can safely say he is one of the most interesting directors working today, and I feel a great need to look more into his work.
