  • Predator 2

    Predator 2 1990

★★½ Rewatched by Ashley Day 10 Aug 2022

A long, slow build up that gradually shifts from moody and dull to laughably stupid. But at least the Alan Silvestri score knows what it’s doing.

I like these films. They’re kinda like kung-fu movies where the car occasionally does the fighting. Even the weakest entries are still entertaining.

  • GoldenEye

    GoldenEye 1995

★★★ Watched by Ashley Day 06 Aug 2022

I’ve somehow never seen this before so it strangely felt like a movie adaptation of a classic game.

Also, I never expected Minnie Driver to show up in one scene!

  • Lightyear

I struggle to believe this was Andy’s favourite film

  • Predators

    Hell of a cast

  • That Sugar Film

These “Man eats like crap and gets ill” films are hardly surprising but they are kind of addictive. Too bad I always come away from them hungry!

Was this written by an AI?

  • The Man with Two Brains

    The funniest film ever made

  • The Gray Man

    The Gray Man 2022

★★ Watched by Ashley Day 24 Jul 2022

A Netflix magic trick: Getting so much A-list talent to produce straight-to-video crap.

  • Brotherhood of the Wolf

    Brotherhood of the Wolf 2001

★★★★ Rewatched by Ashley Day 22 Jul 2022

Basically The Hound Of The Baskerville but with French cultists and Mark Dacascos in one of his top 3 action roles.

  • The Outlaw Josey Wales

    The Outlaw Josey Wales 1976

★★★★ Watched by Ashley Day 20 Jul 2022

It shouldn’t be weird that the bartender from Back To The Future III is also a bartender in this, but it was the last thing I expected.

Also: This film is awesome. The visual storytelling is exemplary and the script is packed with great dialogue.
