  Daniel Kaluuya’s eyes were mesmerizing, carrying a burden but laying himself bare all the while. Stanfield also carries that haunted countenance, but to a different effect.  

  The Last Supper scene and the scene when Fred finds out he was going to be a father are particularly gutting.
