Jojo Rabbit

Jojo Rabbit ★★★★

Taika Waititi really wants to make a statement about his childhood. Once again, after Hunt for the Wilderpeople, as a proven fact, precocious boys are Taika’s secret recipe. He threads on a very fine line between satirical comedy and over-saturated political incorrectness. Adolescence and WWII are always getting along. It looks and feels like Moonrise Kingdom marrying with Life is Beautiful. That is a compliment. Taika’s best work yet!
