Loved getting to spend time in the oasis of the Ozarks. This documentary catches some of the nuance of the South I wish more people could see.
But wow, still can’t quite believe how ugly the Jesus statue there is.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022
This movie had a lot of America Chavez and reminded me of D&D, so I liked it! That said, it was kind of dumb. But I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt that the dumb parts were campy rather than just poorly scripted.

Don't Look Up 2021
I really thought I was going to be pleasantly surprised by this movie for maybe the first thirty minutes. The premise is interesting and the acting was good. But the movie turns into a mess pretty quickly. I knew it was going to be cynical, but it’s also a bit boring and not very funny? Having said that, I do think it will win best picture.
