Saw it again - doesn’t really hold up as well on the second watch, will keep original rating still. Things that most impress me are the directorial flourishes from Raimi (Evil Dead angles when 616 Wanda approaches 818; Wanda flicking back between universes at a sideways angle) and the horror elements and creatures.
Don’t so much love the fan service - and it’s funny that the lack of is causing a lot of disappointment. But it’s probably that it’s fan service with no consequences that is most frustrating - obvious reshoots to satisfy expectations instead of trusting creators to do their thing
