Drive-In Massacre ★★

Boring. Not much going for it.

The good parts can be counted on two hands: opening text that's grammatically incorrect, the first kill is good and risible, the tracking shots are good, there's a cool odd meter jam in the score, John Carpenter favorite George "Buck" Flower, an eerie and colorful carnival scene, a hilarious line about somebody's head, and a fun—but short—finale. [SPOILER] Every suspect dies, so there's no resolution. That's an interesting idea for a story. Better filmmakers should try it.
