Jesse Stringer’s review published on Letterboxd:
A rock n' roll tragedy. Phantom of the Paradise is a film that could've only ever come out of the 70's, and De Palma is likely the only filmmaker who could've made it. An amazing soundtrack, some insane production design, and Jessica Harper bopping around with more commitment than you could ever believe. Oh, and a few classic literary references to boot if you can believe that. A wild ride to say the least.
