Came in for bonkers, got bonkers and then some. Probably the film I've enjoyed the most in cinemas in 2021 and goes straight to 1st place when it comes to James Wan movies.
We may have seen similar stories countless times, but this charming? With such a gorgeous animation? I bet against.
Its lack of ambition definitely played in its favour, and I hope Pixar takes note of it for the future (ahem, Soul...).
