Anatomy of a Murder ★★★★½

James Stewart is hella tall.

Much more morally ambiguous than I expected. I felt really conflicted about the conclusion but slowly realized that's exactly how the director wanted me to feel. I never totally rooted for Manion, which was clearly the whole point of the film. It feels ahead of its time, especially with its frank discussions about rape and gender politics.

It didn't feel like 3 hours at all. Some of the most riveting courtroom scenes I've ever watched.
