It isn't a perfect film but any means. There are too many plot holes, there isn't enough of Richard Curtis's signature Britishness, and there are so many more interesting ways to use the film's premise, but I don't care. I loved every damn minute of this film, and I guarentee at the end of the year, this will be my favorite of 2019. During such a dark, confusing time; music and love and hope and joy are exactly what we need and seeing The Beatles' music through the eyes of first time listeners can remind us of that. Also, we don't deserve Lily James.
