The Most Wonderful Evening of My Life ★★½

From a wonderful Friedrich Durrenmatt short story, I would say it could have been a lovely comedy, if it was not for Ettore Scola direction (although at least conceding the Swiss author the Lugano setting) perverting its spirit and ending and for Alberto Sordi acting, overdoing it almost in loops, every reiteration being more unbearable. Still, all considered, if I was a judge I'd concede both of them the pardon
