One of my favourite movies to watch around this time of year. Each time I watch it I really wish we could have gotten the uncut version. Apparently the original plan was for a more bloody, gruesome and disturbing film but it had to be cut down by 40 or so minutes to please the studio and MPAA. Unfortunately that footage was lost forever and fans like myself will always be left wondering what could have been.

Yeah I still love this one and it keeps growing on me more and more with each watch. I always look forward to watching this one at this time of year. The house is decorated for Halloween so that means it’s time to watch this one.
It’s hard not to like Sam since he just wants people to enjoy Halloween and follow some simple rules. Don’t mess with traditions and pyjama boy won’t mess with you.

This was a movie I was looking forward to seeing in theatres but that didn’t happen thanks to Covid, I still wanted to see this on the big screen though. Lucky for me they were playing it at a Drive-In theatre near by.

I feel I’m in the minority when I say that this is just ok.
I can see why people love this movie but for me it just doesn’t hit on the same level as it does with others. It’s entertaining and I like the gore but besides that it’s just alright. Don’t get me wrong I really appreciate what they did with the budget they had for this movie. Some of those effects were great.
I know this is going to very unpopular but I think if I had to choose I would pick the remake over this one.
