JM Brick’s review published on Letterboxd:
Between this and seeing Parasite again, I’ve been spoiled rotten these past two weeks with really entertaining, well made, crowd pleasing films that tackle class warfare in interesting and insightful ways.
Knives Out was such a joy to watch. The performances were great, especially Daniel Craig. The film’s so clever and subversive, and it comes together in such a satisfying way. There’s a BABY DRIVER REFERENCE! I dunno, man. This film just made me feel so so so so good. I’m so glad Rian Johnson made a film that’s respected and liked by what seems to be a great majority of the people, after all the hate he received for TLJ. This was just such a good theater experience, and I cannot wait to see it again.
