While it didn't strike the emotional resonance of Pain & Glory, Parallel Mothers is a strong feminist piece. Incredible score, stellar naturalistic performances/cinematography. May be a little idealistic and privileged.

Outrageously difficult first 30 minutes but it picks up. Ending was stunning; felt like the camera was flipped on the La La Land prologue.
