Jo March’s review published on Letterboxd:
I suppose Carol and Parasite just had a baby here and it was kinda fun and flirty
My favorite part about this film was that it allows viewers the opportunity to experience various fragments of the film's thematics of deception. Each act, or Part , grabs viewers by the hand to walk them through this beautifully crafted maze of trickery. Clever, witty, slightly erotic and darkly comedic, The Handmaiden finds a beautifully shot niche in both drama and romance, while additionally representing thematics of social class, homosexuality, and female empowerment. This film views as an exceptionally created and unique piece of art.
