hook is a cool adaptation that has some fun stunts and really dives into the fantasy of it all with full bravado. sweet like three boxes of movie candy. 

robin williams as big mean guy? i don’t buy it. the thudball? i’m an angel investor. i love that absolutely no ground is laid for the thudball. it’s pedal to the metal full throttle thudball and you’re either on the ball or off the ball.
