Bad taste in movies.
Place for me to word vomit my thoughts after watching movies. Probably a bunch of typos…
Your old man's about to knock on the sky and listen to the sound.
Finally seeing this after having only seeing it in bits over the years. Holy shit new all time fave and easily the best Disney live action movie. The movie feels a bit hifi/lofi now and some scenes suffer from some poorly aged cgi, mainly fake Jeff bridges but damn the rest of it is so good. Top to bottom some of the best art direction and…
Not bad. Very wholesome. Some insanely detailed renders down to the hairs on characters arms and necks. Visually insanely well done with some really well composed shots and transition sequences.
Story is pretty meh. Lots of shaming of the main character from the family that hit too close to home lol. Pretty generic story of the black sheep saving the day but Disney-fied. But let’s be honest, every family has at least one Bruno.
Overall pretty meh. Predictable family movie with some fun musical moments and top tier animation.
In case I change my mind...
Major trigger warning for this movie.
This movie has left me emotionally raw. Such a devastating story that it hurts to realize that it based on true events. By the end of the film I was upset... Definitely understand what you're getting into before watching this movie because the results are real and holds no details back in the portrayal of the events.
The movie is a slow paced burn with each arc slowly…
Horribly cheap movie all around. Entertaining for the metal cameos and soundtrack but literally all the characters are written so shallow and unlikeable. Expected something with a bit more charm like Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist but this was nothing but a poorly written story about an asshole entitled kid that doesn’t have any character development until the last 10 mins of the film.
Actually one of the rare films I wouldn’t recommend watching at all. Just go watch tenacious d or something lol.
