Joe Lollo’s review published on Letterboxd:
I want full versions of every song in this movie and I want them now.
As someone who grew up in a European country and grew up on the song contest, I have to say that this film manages to embrace all the best parts of the real-life Eurovision contest - the critical balance of absurdity and triumphant confidence is definitely at play, and the main characters are very likable thanks to the genuine belief that what they are doing is special, and that doing what makes them happy is the most important thing in life. This film knows not only how to make fun, but also how to have fun. And that's very important.
