Joel B’s review published on Letterboxd:
The gore and technohorror of Videodrome, paired with the identity concepts of Ghost in the Shell make for one stiff, bloody cocktail. Cronenberg the younger directs the hell out of this thing. Pacing issues aside, there was very little doubt in my mind he had complete control over what he wanted to explore and do with this. He works best to me in the in between scenes, leading up to, and after the big moments. Letting the visual medium simmer in our brains and meditate. A very real and palpable parable for workaholism and loss of identity in the corporate structure, with all the gore and body horror you'd expect from the Cronenberg name.
