I read the description of this one and was immediately hooked. Sounded so much like an early version Reservoir Dogs and to a certain extent I can definitely see influences, I would say safe bet that QT watched Mr Huston's film.

So much like the aforementioned RD the jewel heist in this movie is kinda just there as all the plot peices move around it getting into place. Sterling Hayden killed it as he…

I effin love this movie, fr. Watching this for the first time in IDK how long just brought back so many good memories of watching this with the mother of my daughter. She and I had an advertising poster of Juno that we had gotten from Target back then. This is a movie that I will always associate with her and that time period and it will always make me happy!

Moldy peaches killed it on the soundtrack and I…

AJMCC episode 13, Justin's pick from my list

Banger cast in Eric Bana, Daniel Craig and Geoffrey Rush.

Starts in 1972 in Munich at the olympic games and the PLO kidnaps and murders some Israeli athletes, setting off Bana and his team basically being a black ops team going and kill ppl associated with the terrorist attack through guerrilla style terrorist attacks of their own.

Lots of great shots, brutal violence(Spielberg doesn't shy away from the blood and gore in…

This is a tremendous action flick through and through. I had not seen this in maybe 20 years or so and holy cow was I blow away, esp by just how effin 90s it was, from the GNR to the Public enemy shirt John Connor is wearing. He rides off on a dirt bike listening…

What a fun filled turn your brain off ride! Samara Weaving has 1000% cemented herself as my new favorite scream queen/waifu in general!
Lots of action, blood and some comedy mixed in while all being paced well. It's a dumb action horror movie but yo certified banger

If Psycho is the first slasher movie then Halloween is the personification/perfection of the genre. Carpenter did so much well that everybody has spent the last 40 years trying to emulate him. The music alone sends shivers down your spine. The camerawork is top tier and it introduces and uses all the tropes that Scream tells us about. Jamie Lee is the virginal smoke show, babysitter.
Use of negative space is inane. Banger and mash certified!

A classic through and through. The telling of Bram's classic novel. We got one of the public domain ones with no color tinting and I think that took away from it but still a great movie with some great pipe organ and excellent shots. Must watch!

My first Polanski movie. The slowest of slow burns. So much build as you see rosemary go insane throughout this movie. Its incredibly well shot throughout, I think I just lost something having figured out that she wasn't crazy and that everybody was fucking with her the whole movie.
Also come on Guy, why the fuck would you let Satan fucking fuck your wife? Really? Douche canoe.
