Prince of Darkness 1987
You know when people act all precious over 1979's Halloween.. This film.
Peter Jason - mouth trumpet. If I could make that noise. Id be that fucker all day. It's all in Dennis Dun's face.

Blue Velvet 1986
Still beautiful fetishistic imagery. Viewed in a crimson red decor of a 1900 cinema. Like the whole audience was in Dorothy's apartment and we were all in Frank Booth's grip. Looked on in quiet horror and sometimes nervous laughter.
Still loose my shit at the Pabst Blue Ribbon scene.

Innerspace 1987
King of the front display of every video store in 1988. It's still that good, and it's better than your favourite 80s nostalgia T-Shirt movie.

Robocop: Prime Directives 2001
Dark Justice ★ - youtu.be/Imr9IhPneN0?t=6m36s ...he gets a star.
Meltdown ★ - Da Bombz ain't in this enough.
Resurrection ★★ - The Legitimate Robocop TV Movie.
Crash & Burn ★½ - The Legitimate non-Robocop TV Movie. Crime Prevention units get rubbered and smash a load of screen doors. Cat 5 navel kid. *pause*. Really good derezzed effects.

How to Get Ahead in Advertising 1989
Probably more urgent in theme now than it ever was in its time. Serving as an observation on how horrific a decade was; a companion piece to They Live. It's final is a Tory fever dream. True horror.

Days of Thunder 1990
It's stupid. You can clearly distinguish the iconic dialogue written by Towne and the shite Cruise put in. But the vibrating race energy is hard to over look... stock cars inches from crushing the camera.
Technically the first Sergio Leone movie I ever watched at age 13. -
