Jurassic World 2015
Christmas Day TV viewing. I’ve seen this twice now. Actually doesn’t do a bad job of setting things up, but It’s juggling act falls at precisely the same place everytime I’ve watched it. Just after the theme park centre is overrun. It loses all momentum and I suffer from amnesia.

The Ritual 2017
Went to see this with a bunch of people a normally do a lot of hiking and camping with. Which probably made it more fun than it was.
Loses the climate of fear in 3rd act, but is then replaced by something that I’m still thinking about the next day. -
Alien: Covenant 2017
I’m back again... It's problems come out of familiarity. Even the crew standing in front of the alien ship looked like bored school kids on a museum trip. Let go of the obsession. Move on, make something new. There’s a Prometheus sequel buried in here somewhere amongst the four writers and the mess. David as a character finally gets some motivation outside of daddy issue.
