    The Living Daylights

Dalton still has his 2nd film to possibly win me over, but as of now I’m a bit baffled as to why he has become such a fan favorite in the pantheon of 007 actors . Give Roger Moore all the shit you want for his one note comedic performances, but at least he kept you entertained most of the time.

In my eyes, the worst thing a Bond film can be is boring. Dalton attmepts to ground the character…

    Bohemian Rhapsody

I'd read beforehand that the surviving band members had a good deal of influence over the content of the film, and that fact hung uncomfortably over Bohemian Rhapsody throughout. After finding the first two Bond films to be a bit of a bore, I was starting to think that none of these would hold up particularly well. Goldfinger, however, was a big step up. It cranks up the gadgets, snappy dialogue, cartoonish villainy, and Bond persona to enjoyable extremes for a fun, fast paced film. It starts to lag a bit in the third act, but ultimately finishes strong with the suitably campy henchman fight.
