Was gonna give it a 4.5, but on my way home I liked it even more and I legitimately had a smile the entire time. I think rewatching the franchise before watching this one really helped elevate my expectations and was definitely surprised how faithful it is to Wes Craven, and Kevin Williamson's work. Ghost face is by far the most best and brutal he's ever been like holy shit! Roger L. Jackson's fucking voice is haunting as ever and helps boost the intensity. There are some genuine surprises that really made me shocked on what I had seen. Wes would be proud
