John Constantine’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s a shame that most people will see this not only on a TV screen, but probably broken up into pieces. Seeing it in a theater from beginning to end with no breaks truly imparts the grand feeling of sweep that Scorsese clearly intended for this great American epic. The performances by De Niro and Pacino are tailor-made for the size of the big screen. If you have the opportunity to see the film in a theater, do so. If you don’t, clear the day and watch the movie on Netflix from beginning to end. It deserves that much.
