Again, I did watch this really close to Leviathan, so some of the distinction between the two titles might get lost in the detail for me. My main takeaway from Deepstar Six was that it had the same quality of atmosphere as Leviathan, but didnt quite have enough of an impact with its horror to be particularly memorable.
For some reason I got the impression that they may have been a little embarrassed by the quality of their monster suit, because it shows up super late and doesn't get a whole lot of coverage. I thought it looked really cool, so this was a shame! I also really appreciated the heavy use of miniatures for most of the ships throughout. This wasn't a boring watch by any means, but it does suffer in comparison to Leviathan. I'd still recommend it, though.
