John Kelly’s review published on Letterboxd :
At a certain point in Creed II the scummy "hey don't blame me, I just work here" boxing promoter tries to convince Adonis to take the fight by saying "The belt ain't enough. You need a narrative. Something that sticks to the ribs."
For a film that spends so much time talking about the importance of a good narrative and carving your own legacy, it's got more than a whiff of those Disney live-action remakes about it. Soulless and unnecessary.
