Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker 2019
Very flawed, extremely fast paced film (especially the beginning). A TON of fan service - some pretty cringe. A lot of “twists” that dont quite deliver. Couple of scenes that felt forced. Only thing I really enjoyed was the score, acting, & visual effects. I really hated how a lot of things ‘The Last Jedi’ did were retconned.

Give me more Adam Sandler roles like this ASAP.
The Safdie Brothers do it again! They are slowly becoming some ridiculously good filmmakers - making these ‘on the edge of your seat’ type films that keep you stressed and filled with anxiety. They’re also able to get an amazing performance out of Adam Sandler, who we all know is known for his stupid humor movies, and also gets a good performance out of Julia Fox who makes her film debut.
