• The Next Three Days

    The Next Three Days

Solid thriller that really shows off all the features of the iPhone 3G and has a very random Liam Neeson performance for two seconds but he gives a cool speech.

  • Untraceable

Feels extremely dated, it’s like the writers were like “let’s try to make Silence of the Lambs but with the internet!” and it doesn’t totally work.

It’s pretty much just a really long episode of Criminal Minds

  • The Wild

    The Wild

What a weird and blatant rip-off of Madagascar with horrible animation. Why the hell did I watch this??

  • Cha Cha Real Smooth

    Cha Cha Real Smooth

Yo I really loved this. I just am such a big fan of this new wave of directors who are the same age as me and grew up with the same references and songs and vocabulary and Cooper Raiff nails it. Really excited to see more of his work.

  • The Tender Bar

    The Tender Bar

    Ben Affleck is the best

  • We Own the Night

    We Own the Night

What an underrated gem. Joaquin Phoenix is so damn good at acting, I love his character arc in this basically starting off as a little brother and transforming into the big brother. This is the first James Gray movie I’ve seen and I’m definitely gonna check out more of his stuff.

  • The River Wild

    The River Wild

Call me crazy but all that white water rafting looks fun

  • E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

    E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

Fucking beautiful movie. Can’t believe I haven’t seen it all the way through until now. Henry Thomas with one of the best kid performances in a movie I’ve seen, and John Williams with a pitch perfect score.

Steven Spielberg in this is like when Lebron was in Miami. Just at the top of his game, putting up MVP numbers, unstoppable force that inspired an entire generation. Every little detail he puts in is oozing with his own style. All time legend

  • The Great Outdoors

    The Great Outdoors

My family and I took a road trip to a cabin in the woods and got settled in, turned on the tv, and the first thing that was on was the very beginning of this movie about a family who takes a road trip to a cabin in the woods.

Pretty dumb movie but John Candy is truly a treasure

  • Mission: Impossible - Fallout

    Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Ok this one is the best one. Pretty much 2.5 hours of action that just looks so cool. Shootouts, car chases, motorcycle chases, helicopter chases, skydiving malfunction, bathroom fist fights where Henry Cavill reloads his arms, fist fights on the edge of a cliff AND while hanging off said cliff. McQuarrie really does it all in this one.

Funny cause Henry Cavill plays Superman and throughout this M:I franchise, Ethan Hunt basically becomes Superman

  • Hustle

Predictable, but actually pretty good. I think Sandler always gives a pretty good performance even though this isn’t quite up to par with his other dramatic work. He has great chemistry with Hernangomez, who also does a pretty good job. Anthony Edwards was legit a good actor/dickhead

  • Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

    Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

This is the best one since the first one, great action sequences and tension. Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin were perfect additions in their roles. Good shit IMF team
