Aptly titled, skin-crawling, and even quite witty, Raw makes for a stunning directorial debut from Julia Ducournau and one of the best and most audacious horror films in years, with gorgeous cinematography, a bravura and bravado lead turn from Garance Mirrillier, interesting thematic undertones, thick atmosphere, and truly stomach-churning imagery.
