The Onania Club
John Waters’ favorite film of 2021, apparently. It’s certainly a unique piece of work: a dirt-cheap movie about filthy-rich people, who get off, quite literally, on the misery of others, in a series of increasingly outrageous vignettes. Much like The Human Centipede, the director’s most famous outing, it’s barely a movie, and more of an extremely tasteless joke stretched to feature length. It’s never boring, though, and the 5 lead actresses - I’m using the term loosely here - really give it their all.

Never a good sign when a sentient cupcake is the scariest thing in your so-called horror movie... At least Wally's Wonderland had Nicolas Cage!
