    The Dorm That Dripped Blood

as someone who lives at the cooperative at which this was filmed, it was cool to see how they construct a dorm that feels lived at, that the characters know. however, the expectation was set fairly high when the opening scene shows practical effects of a hand getting cut in half, and ultimately the rest of the film is just kills by cutting. overall, it was a lot of padding involving a camera stalking a victim but nothing happening, pointless dialogue, and running around after an elusive person you know isn't the killer.

a brilliant idea executed super well. a return to classic outlandish spy antics, while also updating some aspects for a modern setting.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

palpatine being alive is kinda the nuttiest thing they couldve done with this. i've heard time travel theories and clone theories, but him straight up being alive is so strange. the best part about this movie was rey realizing that she couldve become a sith if she went through with killing kylo ren. it doesn't get more complex than that though. idk it's such a weird movie, but i enjoyed watching it. prolly wont watch it again tho.
