  What I liked most about this is that there was actually aliens on screen for most of the runtime. It’s paced well, shot very well, and Kaitlyn Dever knocks it out of the park with her basically wordless performance. 

  I did not anticipate this film to be so… rich? Not sure if that’s the right word but the director was clearly trying to go deeper with the meaning of the film. I’m not entirely sure what the message is but…

  Exactly what a sequel should be. Everything is done so well. It’s impressive how they were able to achieve the heights of the first one. Now, is it better then the first one? Ehhh no. Not for me at least. It’s close, very close actually but I enjoyed the side characters in the first one a lot more and I absolutely adore the dynamic between Miles and Peter B.
